Very interesting presentation! Thank you.
In south of France this is the most communly used cycadales. He has been report that this specie had endure very low temperature (-10°C to -15°C) but recover fairly fast!

Thanks for the really good post.I just bought 2 big ones with seed pods everywhere and also got a small dog 4 months ago that eats everything.....even played with the seeds.Now that i am reading this she could have died eating the seeds!!!Thanks again,now i know...KEEP the seeds of the ground!
